Terms of Service

Last updated June 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of Aeody, including the free AEO Score tool and any paid plan. By using Aeody you agree to them. If you are using Aeody for an organization, you agree on its behalf.

The service

Aeody measures how ready a web page is to be cited by AI answer engines and suggests fixes. The free tool returns a score and a breakdown; paid plans add ongoing tracking and higher limits. The AEO Score is an estimate of citation-readiness. It is not a guarantee that any AI engine will cite, rank, or surface your page. We are not affiliated with any AI engine, and we never claim to see the real prompts people type into them.

Accounts

You can use the free tool without an account. For paid features you create an account and are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

Acceptable use

  • Only analyze pages you own or are authorized to analyze.
  • Do not use Aeody to attack, overload, or probe systems without authorization, or to drive our page-fetching as a proxy against third parties.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, credit metering, or security controls.
  • Do not resell or redistribute the service except as expressly permitted by your plan.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

  • Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring (for example, monthly) basis. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing period until you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active through the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Credits. Usage is metered in credits that cover probes and analyses. Credits are allotted per billing period, have no cash value, and unused credits do not carry over unless your plan states otherwise.
  • Refunds. Charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If something goes wrong on our end, contact us and we will make it right.
  • Price changes. We may change prices or plan limits. Changes apply to future billing periods and we will give you reasonable notice.
  • Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you are responsible for applicable taxes.

The free tool and email

Entering an email to unlock the fix list adds you to our list so we can send your results and occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

Intellectual property

Aeody, including its rubric, software, and brand, is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. The content of the pages you analyze remains yours; the schema and recommendations we generate are yours to use.

Disclaimers

Aeody is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that scores will match any particular engine's behavior, or that following our recommendations will result in citations, traffic, or rankings. AI visibility depends on factors outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aeody will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Aeody at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
