What Aeody is
Aeody is a free tool that scores any web page from 0 to 100 on how ready it is to be cited by AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, and Claude, then gives you the exact fixes ranked by impact. There is also a paid AI Visibility Tracker for ongoing monitoring.
What it checks
The AEO Score is built from nine weighted dimensions. Most run deterministically in code, so the same page always gets the same structural result; a few judgment-based dimensions are graded by an AI model set to its most consistent, no-randomness setting (temperature 0). Each page is scored by the standard that fits its type, so a homepage is not judged like a blog post.

Why it exists
More people are asking AI for recommendations instead of scrolling a list of links. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for the best option in your category, you either get named or you do not. That is a different game from classic SEO: instead of ranking as a clickable link, you compete to be quoted inside the answer. Aeody measures how ready your pages are for that, in plain language, with the fixes spelled out.
What we will not do
We are not affiliated with any AI engine, and we never claim to see the real prompts people type into them, because nobody outside the engines can. The score is an honest estimate of citation-readiness, not a guarantee that any engine will quote you. We only read what is already public on your page; we never change or post anything to your site.
